Recommended Independents in Essex

I have a C4 on a 99 with only 45,000, and it has only ever been serviced at OPC's. Last one was Jan for a major. However as the car is now 9yrs old I can no longer buy the OPC's warranty which I have been doing so for the last 4yrs now.

So thinking in future there really is no point in using the opc's anymore, other then it would have kept my car fully serviced by them.

So really looking for a good independent that I can use for servicing but also it is getting to the point that I'm gonna need new Disc's and Pad's very soon, also for the last 2yrs they have been pointing out lower front arms and bushes are wearing (seen this coved by another thread).

Would be willing to travel if anyone could recommend some good indi's.

No personal experience, but HP Motorsports in Hainault (020 8500 2510) have been recommended in the past. Also, there is Autostrasse in Coggleshall (01376 562922) but I don't know anyone who has used them.

I have used HP motorsport for the last few years and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Great service and the guys are friendly with an honest and reasonably priced service.

Thanks, I have heard and do know where HP motorsport is, which I can get to quite easily. So would really like them to be good!

But have heard diffing accounts about them over the last few years, all second/third hand mind you. So it is nice to actually hear from someone who has used them, would also like to hear from anyone else who might of used them and what there experience's have been too?
