RECOMMENDED TYRES FOR THE 944

Just in case anyone is as stumped as I was when it came to choosing replacement tyres for their 944, try the Goodyear Eagle NCT5's I bought 4 brand new at around the £130 each inc fitting, tyres size is 215/60/15 & ive got to say, after 2 months of living with them im really impressed with the ride & handing, even in the wet, road noise is minimal & grip is exceptional. I recently replaced my 17" wheels with 15" and decided to go with 195 rather than 215 because they were cheaper.

I put 4 new Dunlop SP Bluresponse tyres on for £234 fully fitted. They are labelled as fuel efficient, good in the wet and quiet.

Anyway compared to the 17s the ride is much improved, but that's probably more to do with the smaller wheels than the tyres themselves.
 
I have Bridgestone S02 Porsche N3 Rated tyres on my Turbo. 7 1/2" rims on front and 9" rims on rear

225/50/16 on Front @ £116.40 each
245/45/16 on Rear @ £162.00 each

fitted and balanced price

Exceptional grip and handling with low road noise
