Any recommendation on tyres for my 996 C4S?
I'm currently on Pirelli Pzero, but get a lot of road noise

The Michelin Pilot Sports seem to be a popular choice, but expensive.

Which P-Zeros have you got? The new N5 and N6 P-Zeros are supposed to be quieter.

I paid £722 for 2 x 225/40/18, and 2 x 295/30/18 from Elite garages in Mannings Heath.

Was quoted a bit more from Elite Wheels in Rainham, and Mannings Heath beat the price.

295?

Do the MPS have rim protectors, I always seem to curb the rear wheels (well, two or three times anyway)?
Disregard, just seen on mytyres that both conti and mich offer rim protectors.

I have just had a big hunt around. Pirelli PZero neros are currently out of stock in 255*40*17s.
Blackcircle give a discount to Porsche club members. I have 2 rear Micheline Pilot sports fitted from them for £299
