Can anyone tell me what Red calipers fit a 968 with standard brakes without requiring additional modifications?

Basically i would really like Red calipers so what are my options without having to resort to painting my black ones?

Thanks

Regards

Karl

Karl, do you have m030 front hubs/spindles?

I'll be fitting an m030 set up to my 968 shortly and recently had my std rear calipers done in red. Photos on 944 forum page. I'm going for the red look. I will have a spare set of redone m030 calipers in the coming weeks.

If you are thinking about 'big reds' and don't have the appropriate set up already then some mods will be required. I'm on my phone, otherwise I'd link some pages for you.

Karl.
The way i see it, you have 3 options.
Keep your standard ones , but paint them red.
Get some from a M030 car.[A bit larger than standard callipers.]
Or get some from a 993turbo / 928GTS These are what are commonly known as Big reds / blacks.
Both the M030 and the Big Reds will need adapter plates to facilitate the fixing of the calliper. And you will also need bigger discs and pads.
Also the callipers will more than likely need painting red, as they come black as standard.

If your interested i currently have a full package for sale...In RED... [ blatant plug...]
This package includes EVERYTHING needed to fit to a standard car... Also you get better stopping power over standard , bigger pistons, bigger discs, bigger pads...
