Redline Racing - Thornaby, Cleveland

Morning all,

This is my first post on the forum, as ive been lurking around behind the scenes gathering info and generally appreciating the knowledge of others!

Im on the look out for my first Porsche and have decided on a 964, ideally the later years, ideally slate grey and ideally the C4! (although Im up for anything in sound mechanical condition with a top end re-build).

I noticed in 911 & PW magazine that there is a local specialist offering PPIs and servicing - Redline Racing at Thornaby.

Has anyone used them?

Also, can anyone recommend a local(ish) garage to the northeast where I could view a 964 or two without pestering a private seller?

Many thanks (and keep up the good work!!!)

Chris

I had used Redline Racing for a good number of years Simon knows his cars and serviced my wife's 964 over the years, but now have changed to Nelson Porsche in Stockton due to cost of servicing 2 cars

The only ones I can think of that may have a few cars in are in Yorkshire, give them a ring

Thanks for the quick reply matey! :)

Its good to know that someone is on the doorstep(ish) for servicing work and PPIs (not that I expect to find my ideal 964 in the NE, I expect to have to travel some distance!)

I'll check those websites and keep my fingers crossed!

Redline Racing are great. Have used them for nearly 15 years. Very obliging, keen, and knowledgeable. They have lots of experience preparing cars for Clients who compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and also for the Porsche Supercup, including numerous championship wins and plentiful podium positions, so they must be good.

Thanks Alan, at least I have someone reliable to turn to when I find my perfect 964 :)

They are only about 45 mins from me. I have to travel for about 3.5 hours to reach my closest RX7 specialist!
