Reference Sensors

Sooo i'm due a clutch change that I will crack on with once the bloody refurbished torque arrives for Berlyn Services (mini rant) anyway back on point I plan to change the reference sensors at the same time, am I right in thinking both sensors are the same? also I have seen widely varying prices for these, has anybody used any of the cheaper units?

I also need to change the rear crank seal and was wondering on what sealant might be helpful to use with it, any suggestions? Speaking of suggestions what else would you replace whilst doing a clutch change?

I used a cheaper sensor - can't remember exactly but it has been fine
They are both the same.

Top tip - plug the holes in the bellhousing when tightening the sensor bracket at the end of the job. You really don't want to drop anything in there....

I'd check the gearbox mount (although I think you've redone your rear suspension so maybe you did it then?)

Gearbox mount good point, it wasn't changed when I re did the suspension so I will add that to my list.

Mine was falling apart when I took my gearbox off. I filled it with some sort of PU mix to make a cheap semi-solid mount. :)

Both our 924S's now have the sensors I bought from GSF fitted without any problems-last pair £80 total in February.
