I have a replacement fan from Bergville that goes on the back of the CCU. I removed the CCU to see what I'd need to do in terms of clamping cables in place, and put it back (using the removal tool). Now it's gone back in it's clanking around a bit when I go over bumps. It still works fine, I haven't dislodged it, literally popped it out had a look at popped it back.
What have I done wrong? When it came out, the metal sleeve at the front came out, I left it on and had to fold a few flaps up to get it back in. When I swap the fan, do I need to remove the sleeve, insert it, bends the flaps back into place then replace the CCU?
Fortunately I realised there isn't much slack in the cables so I'll tie them to the steering wheel before disconnecting.
