Refitting trim strips

Anyone played this game? What did you use? My application is actually for the narrower trims on a 924, and I haven't checked availability/what Porsche used yet...

Also have two mirrors to glue back on too! I think last time I took the car to a windscreen fitters to have the disc attached, and that has lasted well. If anyone else is suffering from a broken mirror clip, they are £8 from Porsche.
 
Exterior trims Tref ? if so buy some double sided trim tape from your local motor factors, cut to suit it's waht preoffesional bodyshops use 3M is the best if yoy can get hold of it.
 
You use windscreen glue for the mirror.

Make sure it clean and dry. Glue the disc place, make sure it's the right way up, mine would only work one way. Hold in place for a while and then leave until next morning to put mirror back.

I had to mine every couple of months but the last attempt has been in place for a couple of years. I recon the wife was ham fisted.
