Has anyone refurbed their SR wheels?

Can they jsut be powdercoated or do they need something "Special"??

They can be powder coated, but to retain the OE finish they need to be anodised I believe. It's outrageously expensive though. Are you intending these to be your track or road wheels? If it's for track are you aware that several have fractured on circuits where the spoke is thinnest at the join with the rim?

Fen,

I remember you mentioneing thsi before, I have got soem "normal" D90's for track work and also my new black teledials as well, so these are purely for the road. I'm not about to enter my car in to any Concours competitions so i really dont care if they are OE looking or not, in fact I'd probably have a look at getting them done dark blue to match the body colour.

They are just looking a little bit tired at the mo...

They don't need anything special and can be powdered or painted just like any other wheel. I haven't seen a true anodised one for a long time, most have been painted these days.

You could of course buy a dremel and a polishing pad and just bling them up to a mirror finish [:'(]

Flippin 'eck dave! I didnt realise that you'd sent your car to have the "westwood" treatment on Pimp my ride Uk!!
Have you got that rarer than rare option of the fur trimmed dash?? I think the code was M0-MYGOD![:D][:D]
