Can I remind everyone to let me have their menus choices no later than 30th April; sooner would be a great help.

Many thanks

Great to see so many of you today, in such wonderful weather too.

Our thanks to Adrian and Anita Wilson of ADW for giving up their time and for a very thorough judging process. I know they had a really difficult job because the line-up of cars was simply stunning, and a credit to all that took part.

The results were as follows:

Best paintwork: David Barnes for his (very) bright green Cayman.
Cleanest engine bay: 2 awards: in the pre year 2000 category Pat Henson for his 993; in the post year 2000 car category Adrian Robson for his Macan.
Nicest interior: Cavan Hulbert for his 944.
Judges takehome choice: my 911E!
Overall winner pre year 2000: Rob Croxford for his 911 Club Sport
Overall winner post year 2000: Steven Oldfield for his Cayman
Members choice: first place to Rob Croxford's 911 (again!), second place my 911E, and third place Steve Cutler's Cayman GT4

Again, thanks to all of you for making it such a successful day.

If any of you would like to visit Adrian's establishment details are on his website

I forgot to thank Branson Poyner, R13 member and our local Autoglym distributor (Branson Automotive), for donating the top price of a complete Autoglym car care kit.
Also many thanks to The Porscheshop in Halesowen for also donating a number of prizes.

Well done Philip and Steve for a most enjoyable day made even more enjoyable by the weather. It was good to see so many immaculate cars and region members and their wives/partners all relaxing on the terrace and in the dining room at lunch time. I'm glad I didn't have to judge the cars, it must have been very difficult.

Thank you for your kind comments, and there is really no need to apologise for the car, one thing that is certainly out of everyone's control (even 993 Register Secretaries!) is the English weather. Fortunately it was kind to us at the actual venue!

Hi Maurice,

It was good to meet you on Sunday. I just know the colour of my car as Turquoise. I'm afraid it doesn't normally get cleaned to the standard that you witnessed on Sunday.

The silver coupe is owned by Robert Sawyer but I'm not sure what the official colour is.

Regards

Pat
