Some of us are heading over for this on Sunday and a few are heading over in convoy 8.00am on Sunday morning from McDonald's.

The Precinct, Wesley Court Blaydon NE21 5BT. Opposite the Shell garage, for anyone who needs to top up with V Power before we go. We're planning a route over Hartside & down the A6 to Kendal. If you would like to join us please add your name to this thread in order to have an idea of numbers. I do believe there is a second convoy heading over the A66 too, meeting at Staples car park at Teesside Park at 8am.

Great weekend jaunt over to Kendal with yet another good showing from R3. Thanks must go to all at R18 for the invite. Special thanks to the guys at Porsche Centre Kendal for making us extremely welcome, and showing us around, and the models on display and of course their great hospitality. I was very pleased to see so many of our new members taking the opportunity to come along for a run out and attend their first event; first of many, I hope.

In the concours competition we had 3 excellent, well turned out examples from R3 showing in the visitors class, congratulations to Steve & Shirley Richardson for 2nd in their class, well done to you both. I must also say Ian & Matthew both of your cars were stunning too and were all worthy of a place on the day, should be a really interesting contest between these cars at our own show at Witton Castle in August.

I think I randomly ended up on the back of part of this convoy near Teasdale? Silver Boxster at the rear with a 944 Cab in front & then a Red 997, I was in the Purple 991

Thanks for the reply Greg, I'v been meaning to join up for a while so I'll get my finger out & press the button. Witton is only 2 miles from me as it happens so there should be no excuse for me missing it, other than it's my girlfriends birthday weekend []

Another cracking day out once again with R3 and great to see Steve and Shirley wining second place in the concourse competition. Great drive over and great drive back. If we'd never joined the club we would have never have seen or been on what have to be some of the greatest drivers roads in Britain. We also managed to find a cracking pub on the way home for drinks and food.

Thank again Debs and Greg and also the warm welcome we received fro R18 and Porsche Centre Kendal.
