The next few weeks have a plethora of events coming up in Region 18.

Sunday 21st June "" Preston Sports & Supercar Club Breakfast Meeting ""

For those of you not going to Grasmere we will be attending this breakfast meeting at The Phantom Winger, at Fulwood just off the Junction 32 , M6 Junction. Meet from 9.00 until lunchtime. Always a good turnout of cars and breakfast, coffee lunch etc available at the Phantom Winger itself

"¢ "ROAD REIVERS Drive" out English/Scottish borders:
We'd like to invite you to join us for an enjoyable day out on some fabulous driving and scenic roads, a tasty lunch and the chance to win a great prize if you take part in the optional competition.


10.00am Meet at Costa Coffee, Gretna Gateway Shopping Centre, Gretna DG16 5GG

Coffee, instructions and route details

10.30am Depart for drive and quiz

12.30pm "" 1.45pm Approx Lunch in a pub or café en-route (venue yet to be decided)

1.45pm "" 3.00pm Drive and quiz

3.00pm Coffee stop, quiz marking and prize giving

3.30 pm Depart for home

Sunday 5th July Porkers in the Trough

There are only a few places left for our premier event. If you would like to attend and haven't had a details and an entry form please contact me ASAP and I will e-mail them to you. Currently e have over 75 Porsches from throughout the UK attending.

Sunday 12th July "" Regional Concours at Porsche Centre, Kendal

By members request this event will be run to PCGB "˜Street Concours' rules which can be found on the PCGB Forum. Please let me know if you will be attending, so I can send you an entry form.
I also need number attending by Monday 7th July to help Porsche Centre Kendal with catering arrangements

Wednesday 15th July "" Monthly meeting "" Garstang Golf Club "" Noggin & Natter


Sunday 19th July "" Drive & Lunch at Nutters Restaurant, near Rochdale

We have been invited by Region 5 to join them on a short drive followed by lunch by Celebrity Chef, Andrew Nutter. Cost £26 PP, including gratuities. Friday "" Sunday 24th "" 26th July "" Silverstone Classic Race Meeting

A number of R18 members are attending this event. If you haven't applied for tickets yet you are too late to get the good deal. Also hotels in the area are almost fully booked as Status Quo are in concert on the Saturday evening. PCGB have a large in-field parking area as well as our RACE Centre, marquee and club shop.

Sunday 2nd August Supercar Sunday Mitton Hall, near Clitheroe

Just arrive no later than 8.45 to get a space on the car park This is a free event with around 100 supercars attending.


Sunday 9th August German Classic Car Show, Haigh Hall, Wigan (Confirmed Date)

We will be having a big presence at this' German cars only' event. Please let me know ASAP if you are planning to attend as I need to book sufficient space with the r organisers


Saturday "" Sunday 15th -16th August PCGB National Event -= Althrope Hall

Full details and booking forms are in Porsche Post. Region 18 will have a dedicated parking area, but I need to know what days you will be attending so I can reserve you a space.
