Region 7* Trip To The Ring........

After a discussion over lunch and a couple of e-mails, one ferry booking and a hotel booking, we:

....travelled....

....had a bit to drink....

....attacked the 'ring....

....and played with the locals....

....who were slightly more talented than us, (only slightly though.....[][])....

....had a bit more to drink....

....because this bloke said so....

....and returned home all in one piece and with a very big smile [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]....

....and the moral of the story?

Six people who were friends with a mutual love of the marque, drove to Porsche Disneyland, (thanks for that Sundeep[]), and had one hell of a time! The cars are built to be driven this way - it should be a crime not to do so!

It's not that difficult to achieve..........

What a fantastic montage Oliver, which sums up the brilliant week-end that we all had. A very tiring 1200 miles, which resulted in the cars being put to the ultimate test, and all three passing with flying colours, I want to go back NOW!!!!!

As for me 'suggesting' we have a bucketload of beer.....i didnt see anyone shying away from the task at hand, in fact......[][][]

The local 'talent', was errrrm, a bit good when sliding the 500bhp M5 around several corners. Cant understand why i couldnt keep up with her, ill have to try harder next year[8D]

Had to attach another piccy for the travelling bit, and contrary to what you see, its me driving[]

The moral of the story, as you say, is, friends, a love of the cars, and a desire to get out there and do 'it', it aint that hard as we have proved......

Thanks chap. The problem is although it's as addictive as hell, the bank manager would have a fit! Perhaps the next one and we can have a strong northern contingent going from Hull. I think we're all suffering withdrawl at the minute! []

I've seen you post plenty of times on how good it is, as have others. But it's better, a whole lot better! It's also quite funny to see three of Stuttgart's finest having their ars*s kicked by a German in a Polo! Still, it is their back yard.....

Perhaps we need to take one of these....... It was bl**dy quick!!! Your next choice of car, perhaps?

I'm rather glad now that we didn't have a more potent lens, because we'd have had to endure that big cheesy grin on your face..............[][]

Just a pity we haven't got one of the corner where there were no other cars apart from us and the crowd was, well, a bit lively to say the least! Fair brings a tear to the eye.....[]

Really simple to be involved Kenny. Look at the Nordschleife website, http://20832.com/?rubrik=nordschleife&lang=eng and see when the public days are. Decide when you fancy going, check the ferry fare and hotel cost and then ask if anyone else is up for it. It doesn't take anything more than that! There's plenty of hotels in the area or if you're at one with nature, there's a few campsites. No Health and Safety considerations, no politics. Just a bunch of people driving in the same direction for the purpose of having a good time!
