The Region covers Derbys, Leics and Notts and Rutland but that does not stop anyone from outside the area attending meetings.

As I'm joint RO for "Milton Keynes & Northants" (Region 10)[], I feel I should point out that we cover that area [8|] . However, I agree with Patrick that anyone is free to attend any regional meeting they like - I have 'wandered' around several regional meetings and events in my time in the Club (and no-one appeared to get upset), despite being physically living on the borders between R10 and R24. You're welcome at our meetings (see the R10 secton of the forum).

Thanks Mike I am in Region 25 and reason for my post was that I wondered if any of your members had a good contact within Mercedes Benz Northampton.

How soon do you need to know - our regional meeting is on 8th June? Or post on our forum for feedback.

Is it a Sytner garage? The reason I ask is that the Porsche Centre locally is Sytner owned, and we havew a good relationship there. (What are you after - new car[], service work[8|] or a complaint[]???)

Yes Mike it is Syntner
One of their customers is selling an SLK55 AMG it was bought from them and serviced by them but the Lady claims to have lost the Service book and I wonder if there is something fishy.I spoke to them today and they confirm they had sold and serviced it (2nd owner and service .) Originally sold by MB Solihul But the only history is one invoice MB said they could not tell me any more about the car unless i owned it .

you should be able to get full history on any mercedes with the chassis number from any mercedes dealer in the UK.. if you need a hand my friend is service manager in cardiff and can probably pull the info for you if you get stuck..

alternatively contact mercedes central who are very good, they've helped me out a lot with old merc's I've brought into the UK in the past

Thanks SS I am making progress next thing is to make my mind up if I want to see the car.I am surprised how many there are around and the price they have dropped to.At this rate of depreciation I will be giving the Cayenne away soon.
