March 2nd "" Club Evening at the Gardeners Arms.
We are hoping to arrange a talk on GPS camera locators and those ever so useful garage door opening devices (that just happen to run at the same frequency as laser speed measurement systems). Interest is already growing so please call me on 01293 886759 so I can ensure that we have an appropriate sized room at the Gardeners.



April 11th "" Outdoor Karting Challenge
At our favoured venue of Bayford Meadows, Sittinghourne. Outdoor, 1100 metre purpose built circuit with twin engined pro-karts. We will run a two hour team endurance, starting at 13:00, and most teams will run 4 drivers. There will be a minimum of 3 pitstops. Cost per person is £50. Bayford Meadows is ideal for spectating with excellent viewing and an American Diner on site. Whether as an individual or a team please call Peter on 01293 886759 to book.

May 28th "" 31st "" Le WOTY
We have two hotel suites still available at the hotel for our WOTY to Normandy. It we fill them then we have taken the all of the rooms! Most are travelling from Portsmouth to Cherbourg to allow maximum time in France. We will take in some of the superb driving roads and WWII sites (we are there 1 week before the 60th anniversary of D-Day) and, of course, enjoy good food and wine. Please call for further details on the two remaining rooms.

June 6th "" Sussex Region Summer Event
An intentional name change will reflect the transition from a Concours centred event to a more general fun day. The Concours will still have pride of place but in addition we will have more displays and demonstrations to make it more of a social occasion. Fingers crossed the sun will shine!! Details will follow in later Porsche Posts and in the Region's Summer mailshot.

June 25th "" 27th "" Goodwood Festival of Speed
The second club presence of the modern era and we will draw volunteers from both Sussex and Hants & Wilts regions to improve on last years formula. If you are attending please drop by for a coffee and chat!

August 27th "" 30th "" Porsche Festival
This promises to be a very special event and well worth all the hard work that the Brands committee undertaking in the background. As this is one of our local venues it will be worth visiting for the weekend with a full programme of racing, trade stands and all the attractions that adorned Eynesham last year. I encourage you to get your tickets as soon as they are released as this will be the "˜must do' Porsche event of 2004!
