Region Meet last night

Did anyone go? Work commitments meant I missed yet another event I had planned. [] Must give up this working for a living lark - it's interfering with my social life.

Yes.

You missed a realy good meeting. Nick Fern did a great talk on the HPC and other advanced driving groups with comments on many advanced driving skills.

A sad miss I'm afraid Carl.

Hi John

I'm relatively new to PCGB and Carl's note made me realise I didn't even have this in the diary in the first place. When's the next one. Is there a regular date?

Cheers

Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Essex meet on the evening of the second Tuesday of every month, at Regiment Way Golf Centre - just off the A130 north of Chelmsford.

Meetings vary from a glass, a chat and a bit of tyre kicking, to full blown presentations subject to who Martyn (our RO) has invited. The December meeting is a Christmas Dinner and, in the summer, one of the meetings is a Bar B to which other car clubs are also invited. In addition to the monthly meetings there are sundry other events throughout the year.

As noted December is a pre-booked Christmas dinner, so perhaps not the best evening to turn up on spec, but you would be very welcome at the January meeting.

Keep an eye on Porsche Post for forthcomming meetings, and on this forum for some more impromptu gatherings.

Hi John

Thanks for the post.

It's in my diary for January. Will keep a look out for region info in PPost
