Regional Body Shop Recommendations

Following a collision with a suicidal black cat on a "chicken run" resulting in n/s front damage to the PU, grille and air ducting of my Cayman, I'm looking for a body repair shop with Porsche experience in the Beds/Cambs area.

I've obtained an estimate from the Cambridge Porsche Centre who can carry out the work on-site if it's not an insurance claim, otherwise it has to be done at the Porsche approved Lancaster body repair centre in Witham. Any positive comments on them and other repairers would be much appreciated. To avoid infringing forum rules, you can PM me with any bad experiences too!

Cheers,

Jeff

Can ask when we do NAT (News at Ten) on club night for recent reviews on work carried out.

Ta John,

As discussed at the meeting, recommendations can be very "Marmite", depending upon many factors. One man's meat, etc.

I don't know if OPC Cambridge still has its body shop but I have used them on a few occasions and were first class and you get the Porsche warranty.
