For those who have missed the note in the Porsche Post we will be having our London region concour with Cambs & Beds region on Sunday, 3rd of June.

It will be held at Kingsway golf club Melbourne on the A10 just north of Royston, it will be an informal fun day out for all the family with pitch and putt, driving challenge, various other fun activities through out the day and of course the small matter of the concours, which will be judged by yourselves as on arrival you will all get a voting form.

The day will cost £12.50 and this will include a bacon roll on arrival , a game of pitch & putt and tea/coffee and squash all day and also a BBQ after prize giving, arrival time from 10.00am prize giving will be around 4.00pm. Can you please either private mail us on r20@porscheclubgb.com or post a note here if you are planning to attend as R24 ROs need numbers for catering.

Ideas for a special London category welcomed, floating trophy waiting in the clubhouse trophy room.

Well we hope for a good turn out as this should be a good day, with lots to do and some great trophys to be won , so any one coming ???????????? please let us no if you will be attending thanks !!!!!!!!

Bev and Daryl region 24

Come on Londoners!

For those with a sense of humour, can we set up some special categories just for Londoners: [8D]
* Most artistically keyed Porsche
* Most bird-lymed Porsche
* Most kerbed Porsche
* Most swirled Porsche (from the local carwash)

Seriously though, Bev and Daryl put on a great event that is both relaxed and friendly, and it's a great opportunity for Londoners to at least Show'n'Shine their Porsche.
I'll be driving back from the Continent on the 3rd, so unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it. But I do encourage anyone looking for a good day out to give it a try.

Just in case anyone is interested in using the main golf course; one of our members rang them up and they said that there are no other events on the day, so the main 9 should be fine to use and no booking is required. Clubs are also available to hire. See you on Sunday. Please drop us a note if you have not yet confirmed that you will be coming along...
