Dear fellow 996ers and club members alike, Denise and myself have decided to rub our rubicons and blow our 1% wow wee interest on our pension pot to invest in modern Porsche technology and release our 2 black 10 year old Porsche technology cars after a lot of thought and consideration.
My main reason and asvised by Gary too is to offer the car to a good home prior to general advertising within the Sunday times etc and the hassle that can go with it.

Probably too much information but here goes, Denise has a white Macan coming but naturally order list is circa 18 months delivery as of demand, no worries with cayenne sale plenty of time, typically as I walked into meet Gary to look and spec a modern version of my car namely a 91 type 991 C4S cab Chris Craft in his wisdom, the same day/minute sent me the latest Porsche GB announcement that the 911 type 991 GTS is launched....the rest is history..

MY2004 Solid Black 996 C4S Cab -0 previous owners, 33K miles, FPSH, just had service, 4 new tyres, Porsche recommended wheel alignment at Porsche centre cambridge where the car was collected from by myself in 2004 and enjoyed a trouble free decade of service only under Gary and team
whom run our FOC PCGB 996 Technical support for the Register members and their cars.

It has 10mm lowered chassis NCO
PSE -an amazing switchable Porsche sports exhaust (please ask Robin Walker and Gary Sorrell why it is amazing!)
Class noughties concours win in Regional concours in July ( I'm good at bribing handing out coffee to judges!)
AC/ full leather is standard c/w sports seats NCO on C4S c/w hardtop
18in Turbo wheels- 4 new Michelin pilot sports and wheel alignment c/w FPSH just carried out as mentioned above at PC Cambridge on Thursday.
Cruise control
Heated seats-extra spec
stainless door runners-extra spec
aluminium gear/adj trim -extra spec
Porsche embossed seats-extra spec
Porsche umbrella in Porsche umbrella holder-!
CD system and computer -NCO
Never been painted or repaired or damaged or accidents etc BUT 1 scratch on front bumper plastic PU, from a fellow club member car on WOTY caused a repaint front PU with service last week, now looks great again, caried out at Porsche Centre Cambridge bodyship under manager Simon it looks great and no work will be required until 2016 service is due.
Full swisswax detailed and product demonstration donor at Cornbury House with Porsche Post interesting article complimenting same (thanks to Barry Smith !).

Cost advised as 30K value, to a member the car is offered at £26K, recommended by my Porsche mentor, if you are interested you could and possibly will end up with a bargain and a beautiful looking and sounding Porsche with 3 guises, soft top cabriolet, hardtop or topless- and highly likely a long term non depreciation, appreciate I paid circa £75K and it does not look or feel any different so for £26k is pretty realistic price for it's Porsche pedigree status.

Anyway and apologies for rattling on, my car is for sale at £26K, no offers at present please, my wishes are for a fellow club member to continue 996 enjoyment, even upgrading from 3.4 Mk1 to this facelift variant (but I cannot accept trade in of course, as this is a private sale only.

To proceed John McGirl On Tele H 01234 216978 or via Gary Sorrell on tel 01223 872872-office hours quoting PCGB 996 to switchboard prior to getting through to gary, selling on my behalf as of any technical or Porsche description/advice which may help a prospective purchaser better than I can personally. Thank you John McGirl 996RS c/w Gary Sorrell friend and 996 support.

Hi John, you forgot to mention the battery which was fitted by RUF in Pfaffenhausen.
I hope you get as much enjoyment from your new car as you have from the 996 Cab.

Well done Johnny and Denise - you will love the new car so much!

Robin - that battery was fitted in 2009 when we were all at RUF. Maybe its due for replacement now [][:(]

Well Johnny, best of luck for the sale, when do you expect to take delivery and are you going for black again.

Well, Johnny, you did threaten to do this a while ago, as I remember [:D]
