Register Secretary

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know that I have now collected my arctic silver 997S and thus am well ensconced as your new Register Secretary. My first monthly Register article will appear in the next edition of PP. In that I will set out my plans for the Register; possibly very similar to how I ran the Boxster Register! However, it is your Register and thus I would very much welcome your help, ideas and comments. More to follow.

Hi Derek

Glad to know you've taken on the new Register.

Picked up my 911S last night and very pleased with the combination of Guards Red, black leather and Carrera Classic wheels.

First impressions are good, and the suspension is less harsh than I'd been expecting from some of the press reports, and feels no worse than the 996 with 18" rims I had a while ago, and less tyre roar with the Michelin Pilots that it's been supplied with.

Not familiar with your work on the Boxster Register, but clearly others are, so look forward to attending some events. Getting a bit nervous about track days with £70k+ of kit, but would enjoy some touring opportunities.

Peter
