Well , I'm going to be brave and dig the 911E out of its cosy resting place and head out for above.

Is anyone else going there from central / W london ? My route will be M4 / M25 / M40....arrive about 11am if not apprehended [:D]
 
Weather forecast is set fair , landlord now keen to come as passsenger ballast , route changed to A40/M40 , will be running in new Avon CR6ZZs on 'later wheels' that ARE designed for tubeless tyres......look forward to meeting up with folk , here's what the car looks like !

Looking forward to few hours away from nappy changing and seeing some rather special Bugattis. Thanks to Ian for organising it.

Traveling down from Rutland. Hope to see some early, early 911s too.

Hi Phill you are welcome to come with me if you wish but I know you like to get out on the bike. i will be going in the 964 as there is work to do on the earlys for Aviva Classic on the 20th. regards Berny.
 
Well I have managed to get mine back together and road worthy so looks like it will be the Silver (and black) 2.4E for me tomorrow. Weather looks good too :- )

Thanks very much Ian for organising the visit. What an amazing place . Ivan's stories alone were worth the visit....must say that the Porsche rebuilding sideline paled by comparison with the Bugattis . Very interesting to see that 'barn find' car that made press headlines when auctioned earlier this year , it looked pretty sorry for itself [8|]
 
Thanks for organising Ian . . . it really was special. Ivan was fabulous and what a great way to have earnt a living. I could have listened to him for a month without distraction.

I took a few very scruffy pictures with my phone at Ivan Duttons - pressed the wrong button each time and produced video clips in some low res format plus plenty of camera shake just to add to the fun [:D].......anyway those that attended can have fun trying to identify yourselves .....those that missed it , these shots are poor consolation for not being there.....it was simply amazing [:)]
