Remove turbo SE rad fans

Turbo SE radiator fans
One of my radiator fans is noisey - I can hardly see them from the top let alone get at them. Does anyone know the eaisest way to remove or service them?

I removed mine a couple of years ago while replacing the rad. Memory is a bit hazy, but I think there are 3 bolts on the top holding the fans to the rad (the fans are 1 piece, not separate) and either 2 or 3 on the bottom. Mine also had a couple of cable ties. The electrics just unplug and then the whole assembly comes out from underneath. It is quite fiddly to get the assembly out and you need to be careful not to damage the fins of the rad.
It may help if you unbolt the oil cooler on the side of the rad and move it out of the way. I know I had to do this but cant remember whether that was for access to the rad or the fans. You will see when you are under there I guess!
I cant help with regard to servicing the fans but hope this helps get you started.

They are tricky to get out but there are 6 bolts 3 top and 3 bottom and a couple of electrical connectors. I think out the top is easier but you have to remove the airbox, and possibly the coolant hard pipe, though I have seen them out with this in place.
