Removing Immobiliser

Hi Chaps
Does anyone know how to remove the original factory (uk) fitted immobiliser. I am going to fit a better system myself but need to remove the original. Anyone know where the box is and which circuits are tapped into? Obviously I don't expect a reply on the forum for obvious reasons but if someone could e-mail me or PM me that would be great.

... the original immobiliser didn't have a 'standard' place of fitting - it could be in one of two or three places. You need to trace it by tracing the wiring, and finding the relevant item. It's a metal-clad box, about the size of a large novel ...

Circuits? Quite a lot.

If you are fitting the replacement item yourself then you should be able to trace and remove the old immobiliser. If you are getting someone else to fit the new one, leave them to remove the old one.
