I honestly don't remember it being difficult to remove, but then I had a dealer trained Porsche technician and his high tonnage hydraulic press at my disposal.
I really do think he just pressed it out, and probably carefully pressed the Welts in with a vice.
If I'm way off in terms of the bush you mean I'll realise when I look at PET.

Yes, thinking about it, just wait till you do the wishbone/trailing arm bushes. Like a great deal of the larger jobs on these cars, not dificult by any means, a little frustrating at times, but time consuming going through the learning curve.
You are quite welcome to have a go of a car with no rubber in it to experience how compliant it is []

The equivelent Weltmeister part numbers are PB022/PB021 for the bushes I have to change, Neil I may be interested in yours if you are not going to fit them?
JP, May just take you up on your offer of a drive, but it may upset my plans of how far I want to
take things....
