Morning 912ers....
Anyone know the best way of removing the rear hub from within the wheel bearing?? The workshop manual implies that you just " drive the hub out from the inside" (the CV joint side).... if only it was that easy!!
No amount of banging or pulling has shifted it so far...
Also, Stoddards have a rear bearing puller tool in their catalogue - anyone tried using one? I presume this is only useful for pulling the bearing out of the suspension arm, not for pulling the hub out of the bearing..? I guess you cant start thinking about removing the bearing until the hub is out of the way. Or is there a better way?!
