Removing seats?

I'd like to remove the seats of my new (to me!) '96 993 Targa to give the carpets and surrounding areas a really good clean. It has the Sport seats with electric height adjustment.

Can anyone give me any guidance?

Thanks

when you undo the seat there are electrical conections under the seat. These are only a multi pug and just pull out. Refiting is the same but reconnect the seat before bolting seat down as is i near impossible to do this after. It may take a bit of messing around with seat runner to make it re locate but it is very easy

Is it possible to swop driver and passenger seats, to keep wear and tear even?

Regards Kevin (proud new owner of 2CS...)

Congrats - good choice [:D]

I have comfort seats in my C2S and the electric adjusters are on the outside of the seats. If the seats were swapped one would find it hard to access these.

Not sure about the sport seats ???

Thanks folks- as it turned out, I cleaned the carpets with Autoglym Interior Shampoo which I can heartily recommend- carpets and vinyl trim came up brilliantly, and there was no need to remove the seats after all!

However, I've noticed that the aft electric height adjuster on the drivers seat is inoperative, so may yet need to have the seats out.

And I can confirm that the switches are on the outside on the Sports seat too...
