Removing the glove box?

David M

Well I am about the install a Dension Icelink to my MOST system and have seen a few neat installs behind the glovebox but unlike my last car where I could just pull the glovebox out the 996 appears quite well made and it is not obvious how to remove the glovebox.

I have searched the usual places but does anyone have a link to some instructions?

I have put a brand new CD changer in the for sale section as I did not realise that you could not have both the changer and the Dension.

Thanks

David

Thanks Richard - do the glove box instruction apply to a 2003 TT as the first thinh I find is a set of Torx screws?

Also whilst you are on a roll - what is the filter under the windscreen near the firewall on the nearside and should this have been changed as part of a major service.

Many thanks

That was taken from the 996 workshop manual. I can email you the whole thing if you like.

That's the pollen filter and YES, it should be changed every 12000 miles. See the Maintenance schedules in the technical section, which shows everything that should be done.
