Anybody know the planned date for Rennsport Reunion IV?
I feel a trip might be in order - anyone up for a long weekend at Daytona?

This would be good.

In a related vein, perhaps should we aim for PCF Spa 2008 to do a 964 Rennsport type of meeting--i.e. to get together as many 964s as we can, from the RS lightweight, NGT, Cup and RSRs...

Anyone interested?

Phil PCF thread already started....15 Jahre 3.8 964RS/R!

Brother in law was working out at Rennsport and admitted it was simply awesome even for a non-Porsche enthusiast... so Rennsport IV will be Nov 2010 and I WILL be attending. Already got the pink slip!

I gave a heads up for this years RR and there was no interest! Good to see there may be some for the 2010 event[:)] I did'nt make this years in the end so looking forward to the next one now. And yes a similar event on this side of the pond would be brilliant. All we need is a historic track and some good weather, now let me see................

RSR was simply put the best Porsche event you can imagine and you can walk around the pits to your hearts content. Spent the two days I was there wandering around looking at the cars, didn't really watch any of the racing just too much to perv over.

The quality of the prep work on nearly all the cars was staggering. Definitely recommend a trip to the next one - run tri-annually, not sure if at Daytona though.

Hi Ben
RSR Good trip for sure, will be back for the next one also, but with a car or two to race.
We need to find a mexican with not so hot food next time.
This is one trip not to miss guys, you think its a big effort to get out there and expense, but it is simply a stunning event.
I also arranged for a few friends to visit the Private Miles Collier collection in south Florida, well worth a visit also.
One of the best collections of porsche outside of the factory.

It was without doubt the hottest Jambalaya I've ever had. My axxe resembled the start of Ponderosa the next morning.

The image sort of leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.....
