Renovation opinions please.

I have my car at the paint shop at the mo.
They have come up with a small problem with the rear spoiler.... what to do about the Matt Back Tape around the grills in the rear spoiler..?? Paint them the same colour as the car or other..?? Suggestions please..

Hi Bronco,

I'm lost with the black matt tape, are you referrimg to the grill itself or the rubber that goes around the edge of the rear spoiler?

Either way I think you only have two possible options, 1) Paint them black to act as a contrast to the body colour, 2) paint them the same colour as the body work - the latter means that it does not stand out so much, but this is a personal preference.

I refer the former, even though my cars all black, but on others (Red) they look good

Keep it black and original - this is a ball ache for the body shop but IMHO looks best
 
Having mine done later this year. When I showed it to the guy who does my paintwork he said there was a company in Peterborough (local to me) that could make the black overlay. Didn't ask for details as I'm months away from the job.

Maybe it's worth enquiring locally to you...just a thought.
