hi all
I have had my 1982 944 lux for 5 years now and its time to get the body work done and repainted.
my question is should the paint on the sills be smooth or in a stone chip type affect????
any advice welcome

I went for stone chip - I think they were like that from the factory and it's all protection, might keep the work good for another 20 years.

Hi alfaboy.... welcome to the forum.....IMHO only one choice, stone chip as it was from the factory, you'll soon regret not doing so as the chips quickly appear on you nice new paintwork. The 944 has pretty big tyres that can throw up some big stones to match...:)

I was going to go for stone chip.but wanted to know if it was original or had been done in the past.
