has anyone tried to fit a new roof, mine is a bit tatty around window. I've found a replacement just need to know how hard is it to fit.Ive got 95 993 cab , rich

I have a 97 Cab. I faced this issue two years ago when I bought my car and I did a lot of research on this. In general my approach is, research the operation, buy new part, try to fit it, oops find you've fcked it, buy new part again and re fit learning by your mistake. Finally be prepared to pay to have the job done professionally (but where's the fun in that) A good quality hood was then £1200. In this instance if you get it wrong and care to repeat the exercises you are obviously a dedicated, deep pocketed amateur mechanic. Pay someone else to do it unless you don't care about the cost and love mucking around with cars. This exercise doesn't seem to have a 1-10 rating but it appears to be more of a 10 then a 1.

993 97 Cab

thanks for the replie, i've been quoted £395 to fit which doesn't sound bad if it's a nightmare to do . i wound like to do something to the car' like the mrs said you brought 993 so you can work on it not like these modern cars
