Hi All

Has anyone bought and fitted one of the replacement dashboards that are avaialable on the market and how pleased are you with the quality.

Aren't they just covers?
There is one on Ebay at the moment at £60 but it doesnt seem to have the centre speaker hole?

Take a look at

http://www.clubautosport.co.uk/

for pictures of thier product. Looks like a whole replacement to me.

Yep i had a look...

They are covers, look at the before and after photo's - no speaker grill !!

LOL - Have you got door speakers then ? with those fitted you dont get the wonderful sound from that single dash mounted centre speaker [;)]

Can I assume then that most owners put up with the cracks in the dash for originality, there was a chap advertising replacement dashboards in the post for £60, but at that price it will be a cover, your thoughts please.

fwiw, I think you can pick up a decent dash for around £100, so a cover at £60 doesn't sound great value.

We fitted one to my 924S last weekend - took 2 of us around 4.5 hours

There are good instructions on 924.org (much better than Haynes)

- just a shame my dash lights still aren't working :( - hoped a new switch would cure it

(they weren't working before we swapped the dash either)

Paul, just to confirm, the Club Autosport product is a dash cover. They can also supply quality used dashboards for around £100 + fitting.
