Replacement hood

Don't know where the "best deal" is but if this helps :-
The previous owner of the S2 Cab I have recently purchased had a new Navy Mohair Hood fitted at Tappers (Auto Trimmers & Upholsterers) in Birmingham tel 0121 458 6080 £830 Aug 04 Outer only not including the lining but including tonnau (?) cover. Nice Job as well.
Someone else I met last Sept had spent £1000 on a new hood for a 968 near Nottingham dont know the details.

The two main hood suppliers around London are quoting £995 for full hood fitted. I was just trying to see if I could find a better deal.
 
I do not know where you are based but you could try mussels trimmers.
they are in godalming surrey. they allso do repairs if required.
they would be worth a call.
