replacement rear shocks

Can you be a bit more specific?

Fitting advice, or upgrade / options available advice ?

Porsche Shop told me they do Bilstein shockers for 944 as an upgrade from the std units. They were a few quid cheaper than the std units as well. Problem is none of the other usual suppliers of Porsche suppliers seem to think they exist! Simon from ESS even contacted Bilstein direct for me to ask them if they offered anything and came up with nothing. Other than that I suppose it depends upon your model. If it's a non-turboS2 car then you have the option of the non-M030 Turbo/S2 units which I guess would be a bit stiffer.

Get standard ones unless you are planning really heavy track use.

New standards will feel like a WORLD of difference compared to your old saggy ones. When you tell us which car you have, we can be more specific [:D]

i replaced my standard shocks in my 944s with the bilstein ones and have to say they are excellent, i went for the bilstein sports rather than just standard replacement as they were only a few pounds dearer.

I'd agree with Paul, especially if you don't intend to change the struts also.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]In terms of options there are standard, M030 or the in-between M474 options. Aftermarket wise there are Bilstein, Spax, KW etc. etc., some with or without coil springs in addition.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]
