Replacement sills

Hello
Longtime since I logged on. My Carrera GT has been adding lots of miles and is still great fun to drive especially with completley rebuilt engine, clutch and box.

But I now have some tin worm appearing in the sills. I want to attack this as best as can be done so I need your collective advice.

What is the source of the best sills, and assuming the worst, what parts do I need? The rust is about a 2" square at the rear inner as far as I can tell.


Is there a known good 924 restorer or is best to go to a plain good old body shop?

Any commentrs please?

Better to ask this on the 944 forum, as the issue is an achilles heel of the cars now. Im guessing that Daytona Coachworks' name will come up; but there are plenty of other firms doing good work too, possibly for less.
