replacement tiptronic gearbox

Hi there!
Will boxster 2.7 (2001) tiptronic gearbox fit boxster 2.5 (1999)? Thanks in advance!

Again, a different type number and control module. The ratios and valving would be matched to the 3.4 rather than 2.5. The danger would also be that you might end up with 1 forward gear and 5 reverse! :ROFLMAO:
 
Given that you have the correct control modual nothing is impossible, i'd doubt there is a huge difference between a 2.7 box and 2.5. You really need to speak to a specialist who works on the cars day in day out. They would know more. Autofarm have been known for doing various swaps on the boxster range i'd advice giving them a call and see what's possible. There is no such thing as NOT POSSIBLE with car mods it just depends how deep your wallet and how sane you are or not!
