Replacement Turbo (930)

does anyone know where i can get a K27 High Flow turbo?

I do have a brand new one in my garage though, still in its box.

I've usually dealt with AET Turbo's in Normanton, near Wakefield. They were very good when sorting out a replacement for my turbo, and certainly gave good aftersales care when sorting out queries with pipework, wastegates etc. Give them a try :- http://www.aet-turbos.co.uk

If yours is a 3.0, then an HFS may be too big of a turbo for you.

i am going for the HF not the HFS (although lots of people keep telling me that i should in case i crave more power later!!)

the engine is no longer 3.0 so hopefully the K27HF will be a good fit.

If it is a new one then it is either a "K27S" or a "K27HFS". He also does a "K27HF2".

it's not new, its a reconditioned K27HF unit from UMW in the US, should be here soon - can't wait!!!

You have to wait another 300rpm for an HF to spool compared to an HFS.

i'm not too worried about that as it's quite a short stroke with a high compression ration of 8.5:1 so i'm hoping pick up will be good.

300rpm isn't a major difference, but every little helps. Especially if you can do this on a number of things.
