Replacement Wipers?

I nominate the bargain basement refill blades from Halfrauds. They are so cheap you wont mind changing them more frequently, so your view will always be optimum [8D]

I'm a great believer in silicone wiper blades. I use the PIAA ones on my Turbo, and have had them on my C2 and 993 before that. Pricy, but excellent.

PIAA don't do them in 13" for my 3.2, so I bought a pair of Tripledge silicone blades for that. Cheap as chips (£3.75 each) and so far I am very impressed with them.

Purchased mine from OPC, with discount worked out cheaper than Bosch from Halfords, no brainer!

+1 for PIAA silicone wipers from www.speeding.co.uk. Lasts ages compared to rubber based ones but then the costs probably evens out as the rubber based ones are so cheap thay even if you change them every 6 months it is still cheaper than the PIAA ones. I buy Bosch wipers in boxes of 10 from GSF or ECP for about £4 per wiper

I got PIAA wipers for mine last summer - they're excellent and are available with the correct curved wiper for passenger side.

Got mine from Camskill and they were about £20 each (cureved one was £1 extra IIRC).

Hi Diesel. In the process of changing the blades on my 98 996, what particular PIAA blades did you buy? Size etc...
Many thanks,

Baz.

You need 22"; straight for drivers side and rear, curved for passenger side.

Straight: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m52b0s4375p56762

Curved: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m52b0s4375p56754

HTH.

ETA: There is also a version of the straight one with a spoiler for a few pounds more, but not the curved one.

What about the rear - is that curved 22"?

No, straight 22". Because my regular (Bosche) drivers wiper wasn't worn out, I swapped that to the rear and just got the new PIAA's for the front.
