Replacing interior trim - door strips

Hi all,

Thinking of swapping the base aluminium trim in the interior of my 991.1 c2s with the official carbon fibre version. However I note on the Tequipment site that only the centre console piece, PDK shifter knob and dash trim pieces are available in carbon fibre, while it says specifically that the door trim strips aren't included and they aren't listed separately.

Does anyone know why that is? I haven't enquired with my local dealer yet probably because frankly the listed prices make me uncertain I'll go ahead, unless maybe I can find some second-hand ones. But definitely not something I would do unless I can get the door strips in the same finish as well.

I'm not sure these methods would produce an identical finish to the Porsche trim on the dash and console? Did 991s that were originally ordered with carbon fibre interior trim have the door strips in carbon as well?

Reason is I remember hiring one with the CF trim and loved it. I haven't seen the results of these methods in the flesh so couldn't be as sure about them. I can't remember for the life of me whether the door trim on the hire car was CF or not.
