replacing key battery.

have had a quick look, and they look like u pull the top off, what happens if i do this? are there bits that will fly out, will it effect the alarm system in any way.

Yes, you just unclip the top half of the key. Nothing should fly out. The battery is a CR-2032.

Having replaced the battery the remote may sometimes require resetting:

Open the car with the other key.

Insert the fob not working into ignition switch and turn it on, but not starting car, but just as you would to check oil.

Once on, hit the "unlock door" button on fob in ignition switch.

The key should now OK

I just took mine to Sutton OPC about £3 for the battery and they changed it for me while i was there FOC to make sure it didnt loose memory or anything!
