Replacing my failed PCM 2.1 in my 997.1

My brain is done in looking at Forums to try and decide what Head Unit to install in place of my failed PCM 2.1 . I cannot afford PCM plus from my OPC.

If anyone can recommend a reasonable priced one they have used succesfully in their 997 I would be very grateful. I don't have Bose but seem to have some fibre optic cable when I removed the unit.

Ideally I would like the following :-

Simple plug and play as far as possible as this is a DIY.

Apple Car Play - preferably wireless

Bluetooth Phone connection

USB slot for Music Memory Stick

Not fussed about Navigation as I'll use Car Play Map nor CD's

If any of you can help I would be grateful.

Many thanks for your reply. I think I will just replace like for like. Could you PM me with how much you want for it. Thanks

I bought PCM Plus in the end, but when I was initially looking into this, I was going to get https://www.pioneer-car.eu/uk/products/sph-da360dab, plus relevant fitting kit as I had BOSE: https://incartec.co.uk/product/Pors...-BOSE-SILVER-Pioneer-DA250DAB-FK-9591SWCB-PIO

I do still have my old and working PCM from my 997.1 Turbo, because I installed PCM Plus, if you are interested in acquiring a replacement OEM item?
Should be loads of original PCM’s coming on the market as more people upgrade to PCM plus for 997.1

PM sent, happy to sell at a good price before it joins the endless collection of car parts in my loft ;-)

Just to close this post I purchased the PCM offered by Squicker and it’s now in and working again. Happy days. Thanks everyone.
