Replacing rubber spoiler strip on SC Sport

On a different note. Does anyone have any experience of replacing the rubber trim on the spoiler of an SC Sport ? Mine is rusting. Yes it is possible for a piece of rubber to rust. Well one that has a metal ribbon in the centre of it.

I know that Forestfine sell the rubber strip - just wondered what sort of job it was. I'm such a wuss that I normally get the guys at JZM to do it.

Oh this is the rear spoiler btw.
