Replacing Seat Adjustment Motors

Hi,

Has anyone ever replaced just hte motors that adjust the seat. I think one of mine has burned out and before taking the seat out (its the drivers seat of course) I thought I would get an idea as to how hard it might be to swap out the motor if I am correct.

If its a 'whole new seat' kind of a deal then I wont bother doing any work until I can find a good match.

On which point, has anyone got a nautic blue with white pinstripe velour sport seat (large bolsters), with working electrical adjustment going spare (in good nick of course)???

I haven't replaced the motors themselves, but I have replaced the flexi cable that runs from the motor to the actual adjuster. When the seat is upside down it is easy to see that everything is pretty modular and simply bolts off and on. I can't see it being a huge problem to replace any of the individual components.
