replacing slipper pads

Hi i have bought a set of new cam tensioner pads for my 91 S2, having removed the rocker cover the old ones are a dirty brown colour but chain, cam teeth etc look ok My question does the tensioner just push down or do you take off the oil pipe to relieve the pressure any advice will be welcome thanks

As far as im aware.
You need to totaly remove both cams to do the job correctly...
