as i tried to relaese the bolt it cracked on the wheel locking key, been advised need copy key, apparently it is a type 10 allow wheel key from porsche, but cannot fina alternative to dealer, can anyone guide me please, your assistance is greatly appreciated

regards and thanks

There are 30 keys for the locking bolts, so unless you know the number, then it is likely OPC only. I have heard that most of the workshops have a box of keys somewhere in the corner, and may help you out cheaper than you think, if you take the car there.

I had the same situation recently.

+ve...key can be obtained. However, you will need to take to opc and they will match it. Cost me around £25.
-ve even though they had a used one they still wouldnt sell it to me cheaper as they didnt want the risk of it snapping, Hmm!

I would go for the replacement from opc. Just think, if it was not an original porsche part you would probably have had to have the bolts themselves drilled out at a huge cost. I spent hours on this issue, but still eventually went back to opc to purchase. Good luck
