reprogramming one touch buttons

Does anyone know if the passenger side window and targa roof buttons can be reprogrammed to be 'one touch' open and closed. I have VAGCOM for the vag cars and tweeks like this can be done using the software but is there a similar software for porsche?

Unfortunately, it is country, model, and year specific, and can't be changed in the alarm module coding. All to do with local legislation at the time.

You can reset one-touch if it is available and stopped working. Shut the door, open the window, and close it holding your finger on the close button for a few seconds after it has reached the top.

Ill give that a go thanks. Just wish the roof button was one touch. Just tried the window thing a good few times but without success. The passenger window only goes down one touch.

So is there no way to reprogramme any of this with diagnostic software? I managed to get the autolicks working on a TT once car starts moving as this feaature is turned off for UK cars thought it might be similar process with the 996.

My 2004 C4S sun roof works with one touch!!! it is literally a brief touch... are you holding it for too long?

Im not holding it too long. as Richards stated I think it has been set like this from the factory but I wonder if there is a way to tweek it with some diag software via the obd port.

You could try re-teaching the sun roof.

No. Not unless the car has been incorrectly coded.

Autolocking can be programmed with the Porsche tester though.

The early cars (up to around 2001) had one-touch windows (both sides, up and down), and also ope/close via remote. On later cars the passenger window was on-touch-down only. Sunroofs were always one-touch on the button AFAIK, and were close-only via remote.

Well had the car on durametric yesterday to see if it had any coding options available similar to vagcom and the answer is no! lol nothing at all very basic. It does tell you how long the car has been run for and how often its been redlined etc... very cool. Im just surprised at how basic the options were, I guess Porsche really didnt want people messing with the settings after they left the factory.
