reprogramming one touch buttons

You can reset one-touch if it is available and stopped working. Shut the door, open the window, and close it holding your finger on the close button for a few seconds after it has reached the top.

So is there no way to reprogramme any of this with diagnostic software? I managed to get the autolicks working on a TT once car starts moving as this feaature is turned off for UK cars thought it might be similar process with the 996.
No. Not unless the car has been incorrectly coded.ORIGINAL: G60KG
Im not holding it too long. as Richards stated I think it has been set like this from the factory but I wonder if there is a way to tweek it with some diag software via the obd port.
Autolocking can be programmed with the Porsche tester though.
The early cars (up to around 2001) had one-touch windows (both sides, up and down), and also ope/close via remote. On later cars the passenger window was on-touch-down only. Sunroofs were always one-touch on the button AFAIK, and were close-only via remote.
