Rescheduled Clay Shoot - Saturday 13 May

Having had a disappointing low level of interest in the weekday shoot, I have now spoken to Sherrington Shooting Centre and they have offered us a 2 hours slot on Saturday 13 May; 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. Prices are the same (£38 per head, all in - gun hire, coaching, cartidges, clays, etc). Please email me or post here if interested. I have invite R24, but that does not bar members from other Regions coming too. Please feel welcome. No minimum standard required - beginners to experts catered for (but easier if you can see [8D] and can lift a gun [:D]!).

Again, I need a minimum of 12 people to make this viable. I think the upper limit is around 25 people, so this time "first come first served" will apply in order of registering interest. A deposit will be require, so give me a contact number to get in touch with you.

I am under pressure from the shooting school to confirm this event (and pay a substantial deposit) or forfeit the booking on 13 May. Given the limited response both here and at the recent Monthly Meeting, I have little choice but to postpone our attempt at running this.[X(] If someone else wants to pick up this idea, organise a day, then please do.[8|]. If there is a sudden rush to say "yes, count me in [:)] ", I'll hold fire, but having 6-8 people isn't enough I'm affraid.

Still, there's lots more going on - karting, treasure hunts, bbq's. [:)][:)][:)][:)] Have a happy summer..................
