Some nice guy has scratched my cab - one scrath most of the length of the passenger door continuing ti about 50% of the rear panel. The scratch is involving the clear and top coat but there has been no metal damage. An official Porsche repairer has quoted £1200 give or take a few pounds which seems very high. Has anybody got any ideas. I am based in Barnet, N London.

Jonathan.. I used the above body shop on my sprogs Silver Yaris damaged in a similar fashion to your car, he did 2 panels and a corner section of rear bumper. Finish and colour match were spot on. I was seriously impressed. I told him heaven forbid I ever need work on my Porsche he would get the contract.

So I would suggest give him a call and see what he quotes etc. Should you be able to send him a digi of the damage he may give you a price that way before you drag down there ....Good luck Robert[;)]

PS: I met Steve via my wife who plays at same golf club as him hence my giving him a try out on sprogs wreck :ROFLMAO:
