Resurrecting 1972 slant nose 911 cabrolet

Hi all I am a new to the Porsche seen , have had neumerous lotuses and exotica over the years . Then last year l sold an old Ferrari , and purchase a Porsche and e type. The porsche has under gone a full bear metal respray , have only just sorted the headlight out which was emotional . Have had a Haynes manual which has help in some respects but wiring diagram have not been that clear. I purchased the car as a project and none runner, and was not happy to try to get it running till I sorted some of the wiring e.g light and isolate all other wires engine turns but only get a spark on first crank. Have had cdi tested and it was good coil also test ok with meter, removed dizzy and tested it with meter and seems okay also. Have replaces leads , cap , plugs, new air filter and both fuel filters . So any help would be helpful to getting it running.
