Retro look - what do you think?

Hello All,
I've been playing around with a bit of crude photoshopping to see how my car would look 70's style with decals and ducktail. I rather like it ?? What do you think???

Must say I think the ducktail looks good on the 996 for me the graphics would have to be a more subtle shade rather than black, but do like it??

That ducktail looks similar to the one on Johnny Tipler's car - the one he has had fitted really does suit his motor quite well [:)].

I do like the Duck Tail, but think that having the "Graphite" coloured Carrera decal rather than black would soften the look.....

Hi M8. I read about JT getting his duck tail fitted in one of the Porsche mags but I get ..... but I cant remember which one or when it was that I saw it ..... sometime last year I think. I will have a scan through the pile in my garage and let you know.

Little Bear thinks the graphite decal looks just right. [:)]

Zeusy.

I have just picked up my February issue of 911 & Porsche magazine and on page 118 there is a an article from JT featuring his motor and included along with this there is a side on photo of the car with the Ruf ducktail and engine lid fitted. [:)] Regards. Zeusy.

Hello

I personelly prefer it as standard, as it looks nice and original.

I agree. I had a 996 that I added an aero kit to and after a few weeks wished I hadn't done it. Then again....

I really like the sidewinder decals, not keen on the ducktail.
Easy to remove the decals if you get bored.
Anyone know what wheels Phil has? I have the same on my 996 but never seen them on another.
